How Stress Effects our Health

In our high-powered world of technology we find our lives going at such a rapid pace that things seem to be spinning out of control. This and normal everyday problems with family and money contribute to a build up of stress. Like with everything, there is always a solution to any problem. For example, if your financial situation has reached the point of you having to declare bankruptcy, you’re next move to hopefully get your financial life back on track may be to find a trusted Attorney. Professionals like these are here to help. Not many people think of this though, especially if they are always stressing. But it is important to try and help yourself through tough times too.

This is one of the main reasons that we do not enjoy the good health we deserve.

Sometimes we are not even aware of the problem until a crisis occurs in our lives By that time considerable damage may have occurred and it is difficult to turn our lives around onto the right path.

Signs of stress: Your body has ways of showing stress and it is important to be aware of them:

1. First you may be experiencing tension in your muscles, especially your neck and back

2. Fidgeting, you need to hold something with your hands (cigarettes, twirling pencils etc)

3. You just have difficulty in relaxing and getting to sleep

4. You feel anxious regularly even at things that in the past didn’t worry you.

4. Depression.

As stress levels build we tend to breathe with shallow breaths. We also tend to hold our heads in a forward head position. These changes can lead to neck and upper back pain and stiffness. Anxiety and difficulty sleeping tend to be realatively early signs of stress. If anxiety levels persist and sleep becomes more and more difficult the likelihood of experiencing depression escalates. It is very important to catch these initial symptoms of stress as early as possible, before they develop into more serious problems.

Your body’s reaction to stress:

1. High blood pressure

2. Increased blood sugar levels

3. Lack of concentration

4. Irregular breathing

5. Strain on your heart

All these reactions to stress can turn into life threatening problems. High blood pressure is a well-known precursor of more serious problems like strokes and aneurisms. Lack of concentration can cause problems while driving or operating industrial machinery. Irregular breathing can develop into Asthma. Any strain on your heart is bad and can lead to serious consequences and even death.

Here are some pointers to cut down stress:

1. Organise your time

2. Spend some time away from all your worries and cares-find time to relax

3. Stop worrying- it will not help you solve the problem. An example I can give when it comes to worrying is money. A lot of people worry about not having enough money. Paying debts is got to be the number one cause of a lot of peoples stress. Going to www.debtconsolidation.co will show you how much simpler making payments can be when your debts have been consolidated. But we all know that there are ways to build up the money you have. Going to work, going online reviews, start a blog, becoming a social media influencer and much more. When we are stressed, we don’t take the time to think of these solutions that are right in front of us. There are times though that dealing with financial issues require more than these simple solutions. There are adults out there that have trusted people with their money and have been mis-sold. No wonder why they would need to look into finding compensation for bad pension advice. This is a little different to the solutions we mentioned above, but it all depends on the individuals situation. Either way, there is always a way around it.

4. Be aware that you have stress problems

5. Try to eat well and sleep well

6. Train yourself to meditate or practice mindfulness

When you organise your time you will find it easier to get things done. Prioritise your tasks and do them one at a time. You will get them done more quickly and easily this way. Take some time out for yourself and try to relax. Try some meditation as this is a good stress reliever. Do something that you like to do. Once you are aware that you are stressing out you can find out the main factors that are causing it and try to solve or alleviate the problems. Look after yourself and try to eat well, sleep well and above all be positive

Chiropractic care won’t necessarily result in you feeling less stressed, but it can result in a change in the impact of the stress on your body. More research is coming out demonstrating the beneficial effect on the brain when the neck is stimulated through an adjustment.
